When I started working on Brake Pad Larry, I had discovered the two brake pads that make up the front part of his face and knew that I had to incorporate them into the piece somehow. I loved the copper color in contrast to the steel colors in the rest of its bits.

Brake Pad Larry is made up of motorcycle camshafts, bandsaw blades, brake springs, motorcycle brake pads, an adjustable wrench, saw blades, garden shears, drill bits, tin snips and other bits whose origins escape my mind.
